Board of Trustees

Lani has been involved in events and communications for more than two decades, producing corporate events before moving into charity communications, PR, fundraising and partnerships.
Lani was Head of Communication at Habitat for Humanity GB before becoming Head of Communication and later Deputy Executive Director at New Wine England.
She is currently Director of Development and Operations for the Langham Arts Trust (All Souls Music), which combines her love of all things PR, strategy and partnerships, with her love of music (in which she has a degree).
She is Mama to two young children and also volunteers as a PR consultant for local charity ABC to Read.

Rebecca is a journalist and communications consultant, who is also a member of the General Synod of the Church of England and a trustee of Southwark Diocese & Christians in Media. She’s the executive producer of Faith in Media, Christian in Media’s podcast.
She writes a monthly column for the Church of England Newspaper and writes regularly in The Church Times.
Having initially read theology, Rebecca has held roles ranging from management and administration to fundraising and communications, working for two Archbishops of Canterbury, the Patriarch of Jerusalem, the Evangelical Alliance and Christians in Politics as well as working as part of the Government Communications Service at the Department for Transport.
Rebecca is passionate about good governance, and raising awareness of neurodiversity in all areas of life.

Tolu Adebekun has a strong leadership background after a 12 year career at Sky.
He has a passion and calling to empower people and organisations to achieve their goals.
Tolu is a speaker, mentor, podcast host and consultant.
Outside of work he enjoys basketball, food and travel.

Carol Sun-Schuster is a purpose-driven storyteller and transformational leader with over 15 years of experience, bringing a broad international perspective to her work.
She is currently an independent management consultant, working closely with start-up founders and executive teams to deliver impactful solutions in branding, business strategy, communications, marketing, and sustainability.
Previously, Carol was the Asia-Pacific Fan Engagement Lead at Chelsea Football Club based in Singapore. She oversaw and implemented CFC’s APAC change strategy, propelling Chelsea to Premier League dominance in China.
Prior to CFC, she held leading marketing positions at Disney in Singapore and was responsible to develop and drive the Southeast Asia brand and marketing strategies. She started her career in Los Angeles, working for companies such as NBCUniversal, Paramount Pictures, and Warner Bros.
Carol also serves as a Trustee at Myelopathy.org, spearheading the ongoing development of the charity’s branding, communications, and marketing.

Francis Stanford is a Chartered Accountant who combines a sharp eye for detail with creative thinking to bring clarity and insight to financial decisions.
He’s particularly motivated by seeing organisations grow and develop, and enjoys the role that thoughtful financial strategy can play in making a real difference.
Away from the spreadsheets, Francis loves to discover quality restaurants and bakeries, explore new places around the world and be transported away by captivating theatre. He’s always keen to get into the great outdoors and will take you up on any offer of sport being it playing or watching.

HopeGene Gospel Artist, AstepFWD Host, Konnect Radio Presenter and Co-Founder/Programme Director of Cohesia Connect. These are a few hats worn by our anchor for CIM’s Faith in Media Podcast.

All of which are driven by her personal passion for the gospel and bringing unity through the love of Christ. Music, connection, and conversation are Carla’s vehicles for the mandate. With a love for Jesus and people, Carla is delighted to join the community of Christians in Media, representing Christian voice within the UK.
