The UK is living through a season marked by fear, uncertainty and instability. From politics and the economy to global conflict and cultural tension, disagreement feels louder than ever. In the face of this, the temptation is to cling to sides, opinions and sources of control - often instead of pursuing understanding and truth for the sake of the Kingdom.

As Christians working in media, we hold positions of influence and responsibility and with that comes the responsibility to model something different.

Scripture tells us that perfect love casts out fear, yet our public spaces are increasingly shaped by division, suspicion and outrage. Too often, we allow our political positions, biases or professional pressures to take precedence over our shared identity as brothers and sisters in Christ.

At Engage 2026, we gather as Christians in media to explore what it means to speak with one voice in a fragmented world; not uniformity of opinion, but unity of purpose. 

Building on last year’s focus on shaping the narratives that shape the nation, this year we ask the next question: how do we use our God-given influence to point people to truth and ultimately to Christ?

Through One Voice, we will explore how to reorder our priorities with a Kingdom-first perspective and how that shapes the way we show up in the media spaces we represent. How do we disagree well while continuing to love deeply and honour one another? How do we model Christ-like disagreement, showing the world, through the media, a better way forward?

Engage 2026 is an invitation to resist fear, reject false divisions and rediscover a Kingdom-shaped voice; one that speaks truth with love, honours others without compromise and consistently points beyond ourselves to Jesus.
